Pre-K for All is Free
Pre-K for All, formerly called Universal Pre-K (UPK), is a high-quality early education program that is specifically designed to help prepare 4-year-old children for an easy transition to kindergarten.
The program is funded by the State of New York and follows the New York State Common Core learning standards, which are organized into 5 broad developmental and interrelated domains:
- Approaches to learning
- Physical development and health
- Social and emotional development
- Communication language and literacy
- Cognition and knowledge of the world
NY Certified Teachers
Classrooms are led by New York State certified teachers, who provide developmentally appropriate practices that will help nurture your child’s learning through hands-on creative play and equip your child with the basic skills necessary for success. We have been a proud partner with the New York City Board of Education since the inception of the UPK program.
